Ashaming scheming in Bukavu about the killing of Mr. Pascal Kabungulu.

Mr. Maurice Bahati Masheka ga Namwira arrested and detained

 by security forces

Mr. Maurice Bahati Masheka ga Namwira , Administration and Finance Officer of Heritiers de la Justice was arrested on 7/10/2005 by the security Services namely “ Auditorat Militaire” in Bukavu. Fews hours after interrogation he was immediately transferred to central prison of Bukavu, where he is currently detained.

According to the millirary officials, the arrest is linked to the killing of Mr. Pascal Kabungulu Kibembi,  the Executive Secretary of Héritiers de la Justice  on 31 /07/2005 at his home.

Héritiers de la Justifce fears that such an arrest might be linked to the ashaming scheming as would be organised by the south kivu provincial governer office. According to some sources of information, the Vice governor Mr. Didace Kaningini has recently been looking for a specimen of Maurice’s signature.

Any observer wonders why this arrest while officials in Bukavu deliberately deprived the inquiry commission on Pascal Kabungulu’s death of necessary elements on the case. Instead, the governor’s office has substituted itself to the inquiry commisssion. Besides, the same observer would wish to know why the Vice Governor of South Kivu declared on the mourning day that “ the causes are not far away”

Heritiers de la Justice encourages further investigations on Mr. Pascal Kabungulu’s in order to death reveal trurth and that his killers be prosecuted. However, Heritiers de la Justice asks the security service to free Mr Maurice Bahati so that he can continue his while further investigation are ongoing.
